This theory module provides an overview of fluoroscopy, which allows real-time viewing of moving internal structures and fluids in the human body, and interventional radiology, a rapidly growing area of medicine that uses image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat patients using the least invasive techniques.  The module offers students and novice practitioners an understanding of the technology and techniques involved in these imaging modalities. If you are studying for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® (ARRT) registry exams, this module is ideal.
